House construction budgets: How to save thousands on your custom house build

Building a custom house in Ontario is expensive, but there are ways you can save money. In today’s video I’m every tip, trick and technique I used to save thousands on my construction project.

I’ll talk about the 4 key areas you can look for savings:
Land, including size, location, permits and fees.
Design, with an emphasis on size reduction, roof and elevation.
Plans, and how to leverage construction auctions to work backwards.
And labour cost saving by DIY.
